To get to the next level I need to:

• Find key information by using the skimming and scanning strategy
• Make links between the pictures and the text to help me understand

Writing goals

To get to the next level I need to:

• Checking my sentences to make sure they make sense
• End my story as well as I started it (use my plan)
• Use descriptive language (similes) to add detail and interest for my reader
