Movie Magic Evaluation
I think that a tripod is the most important element to movie making because...It makes the camera stay still and when the camera is still,the movie would be a great movie for people to watch.
I put a clear script after tripod because clear scripts help the actor do their parts in the movie and I put a range of camera shots second because...camera shots that are from different angles and ranges tell more detail about what the person is doing.
I think the least important element is fancy costumes because...costumes are just clothes that the actors have to wear.The costumes don’t have that much effect for the movies but the actors have more effect than anything.
Other important elements that aren't included here are...Teamwork,Cooperation and colour.
My biggest light bulb moment while learning about movie magic was...How to make a good movie with different camera shots and angles.Here is a few names of camera shots,extreme long shot(far distances),close up(really close but not to close) and medium shot(showing some background but not too much background).

Speeches!
Room 8 have been studying Movie Magic. Part of making movies, is speaking clearly. We put this into practice by planning, crafting, practicing and presenting speeches. The topics we chose, were topics that would influence the thinking of others. We hope you enjoy!
Speech Reflection
How did you feel about presenting your speech to the class?
I felt shy because I have never done a speech to a group of children.
What was the hardest part about preparing a speech?
Choosing the topic was the hardest part because there was lots of things to chose from.
What did you enjoy most about speeches?
That they can be really affective to some people.
How could you improve your speech making next time?
By using more affective things on my next speech.like More interesting facts,powerful words and punctuation.

Reading goals
To get to the next level I need to:
- To feel for the characters and situations by using the making connections strategy
- Find key information by using the skimming and scanning strategy
- Make links between the pictures and the text to help me understand
Writing goals
To get to the next level I need to:
- Checking my sentences to make sure they make sense
- End my story as well as I started it (use my plan)
- Use descriptive language (similes) to add detail and interest for my reader

The dangerous wolf with the hard working farmer
Far beyond the myths of time...
A farmer called peter t was mowing the long grass on his farm until...he cut a wolf's eye on accident.He was frightened and scared of the sharp pointy teeth.The wolf was as tall as a door,he wanted revenge of what the farmer had done,also he was vicious and he growled at him with power.
The farmer thought that he could lose the wolf by going down a steep hill.The farmer made a bad choice to go down the hill because....there were heaps of prickles and thorns.That gave the farmer an idea.
The farmers idea was to trick the wolf and make him get thorns on himself.His plan worked so the wolf hid in the rest of the long grass until the farmer came out.
The farmer didn’t come out for ten years.By the time he came out he saw that the grass was long again so he had to be careful of the wolf.The wolf showed before his eyes.The wolf wanted to be friends but the wolf tricked the farmer and ran out of town.
The farmer never came back to that place and the wolf lived his life with one broken eye.

My buddy
This is my buddy Matthew.He is a good boy and he is reliable to count on.He should be in the senior syndicate because he is a good boy too. We changed his art gallery story a bit and we had lots of fun working together.
